It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from March 2023.

Other highlights from March:

We welcomed a fourth student organization, Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) Student Circle, to campus. 

Gigi Colombini came to campus on March 15th to share tips on working with suicidal clients. 

Laprisha Daniels, Executive Director of Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice (DWEJ) spoke about environmental racism during an event co-hosted by ECO and the structural racism programming committee on March 29th.  

Blogs: Amber Perry (MA with ABA ’20)  shared the benefits of a combined degree, Dr. Jim Wood and Dr. Jessica Garrett were in the faculty spotlight, we learned to prioritize environmental wellness, we shared tips for conquering the mid-year slump, and we celebrated research and internship placements
