ABPsi Student Circle

MISSION

The mission of the Association of Black Psychologists Student Circle (ABPsi SC) is the liberation of the African Students’ Mind, empowerment of the African Students’ Character, and enlivenment and illumination of the African Students’ Spirit.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Student Members shall be students enrolled in a graduate program at the Institution at the time of induction. Only Student Members shall be entitled to hold Student Circle office. Membership in the Student Circle is open to qualified candidates of any age, racial, ethnic, ability status, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious, and social class background.

To maintain member status in the Student Circle, members are required to do the following:

  1. Must remain in good academic standing;

  2. Must attend at least one general meeting per academic year;

  3. Must attend at least two Student Circle sponsored events per academic year;

  4. Must volunteer for at least one Student Circle sponsored event per academic year;

  5. Must be a dues-paying member of the national organization; and

  6. Must stay current on their Student Circle chapter dues.
