It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from October 2022.

Other Highlights from October:

MSP announced that Dr. Brian Spitsbergen would be serving as Interim President for the 2022-2023 academic year. 

Dr. Farrell provided students with two opportunities to ask questions or seek case advice during the October 4th and 18th LGBTQ+ Consultation sessions. 

On October 9th, members of the MSP community gathered to celebrate the life of Dr. Sid Berkowtiz

ECO attended a plant swap at Walking Lightly in Ferndale on October 9th. 

Lama Hodroj (MA with ABA) joined to Michigan School Psychological Clinic as the new ABA Clinic Supervisor. 

Dr. Nathan Hayrynen (MA ’16, PsyD ’22) hosted a Dream Therapy Workshop in October 20th. 

Blogs: We welcomed Dr. Spitsbergen and Lama Hodroj (MA with ABA ’20), we learned how to prioritize emotional wellness, Coordinator of Admissions and Student Engagement Kinsey Tiekele gave tips on considering graduate school and applying to graduate school, and we celebrated the recipients of the Cereta Perry Scholarship
