Get to know (and join!) the student organizations at MSP. Representatives from our student organizations will be tabling in the atrium so you can learn more about how to get involved on campus. MSP’s student organizations are:
The Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) – ECO’s mission is to bring attention to the climate crisis and its impact on the work of psychologists. ECO holds various events on campus throughout the year, past events have included a clothing swap, seed swap, Earth Day celebration, and more.
The Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Alliance (IDEA) – IDEA facilitates discussions on multicultural issues that are related to professional psychology. Last year’s IDEA event included a vigil for Transgender Day of Remembrance, the MLK Day driving for justice parade, and a Black History Month spotlight. Representatives from IDEA also help host MSP’s annual Cultural Competency Conference.
Psi Chi Chapter at MSP – Psi Chi is an international honor society for psychology. The MSP chapter of Psi Chi hosts an annual research symposium, organizes various campus service projects, and more. Representatives from Psi Chi also help host MSP’s annual Cultural Competency Conference.
