Position Title: Teaching Assistant
Appointment: Semester
Stipend/Payment: $1288.00 per course (4 hours per week) or $1932.00 per course (6 hours per week)
Hours: 4 or 6 hours per week (dependent on course)
The teaching assistant provides support to a professor in the classroom setting. This is done in a variety of ways including but not limited to assistance with technology, tracking of attendance and participation, facilitation of breakout groups during the course, grading of assignments, input of grades in Moodle, etc. Teaching assistants are also given the opportunity to present a lecture during the semester.
