Stipend/Payment: $15,960.00 (paid in equal monthly installments September – July)
Hours: 10 hours per week
Job Description
The Graduate Assistant supports the MA and PsyD Program Directors in their efforts to manage high quality, program-level initiatives. Reporting directly to the Program Directors, the graduate assistant assists in researching and developing best practices, gathering and entering program data, analyzing data and overall support of programmatic operations.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry
- Conduct system-level data analyses
- Aid in program evaluations
- Engage in research on best practices in Higher Education Pedagogy
- Engage in research related to current trends in Higher Education policies and programmatic operations
- Help manage program-level initiatives
- Help facilitate program-related communications to the MSP community
- Assist with general organization of program materials and documents
Position Qualifications
An individual applying for the position must meet the following qualifications:
- Current MA or PsyD student in good academic standing
- Available to work 10 hours per week
- Work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality to maintain professional/student boundaries
- Strong writing, technical and organization/administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to include written and verbal communication
- Ability to network with other professionals and students
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed and autonomous, strong work ethic
- Reliable and flexible
