Arab American Heritage Month is observed in April to honor the achievements of Arab Americans. It’s also a time to celebrate the rich culture of Arab Americans through the exploration of art, music, food, and more. While the contributions, accomplishments, and culture of Arab Americans should be acknowledged and celebrated all year, this month provides a time to renew your focus as many organizations host special events and make their resources more readily available. Metro-Detroit has the largest population of Arab Americans in the US so there are plenty of ways to celebrate Arab American Heritage Month locally. We’ve compiled a list of ways to help get you started.
