Acceptance of transfer credit to any program is at the discretion of the Program Director for that program. Applicants may request a review of transfer credit during the admission process or after admissions. Course descriptions, official transcripts, and syllabi from the institution attended for the transfer request must be submitted for review. It is the applicant’s responsibility to submit these documents.
The following criteria are considered in determining the acceptance of transfer credit:
- The course content must be equivalent to the required MSP course.
- No more than nine semester credit hours may be transferred.
- Credits must be earned within five years of admissions starting year to MSP.
- Credits must have been earned from an accredited institution.
- A grade of B (3.0) or better must have been earned in the course.
Courses awarded credits under a quarter hour system will be converted to semester hours
