What would people be surprised to know about you?
Most people don’t know that I’ve circumnavigated the globe and am also a shellback, a nautical term for an individual who has crossed the equator. There are centuries-old traditions and ceremonies to mark the initiation of a shellback, including meeting King Neptune and having fish entrails dumped on your head.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I am passionate about opportunities to change the ways people can access and interact with the mental healthcare system in order to make it less stigmatizing, less confusing, and more affordable.
Why did you choose MSP?
MSP provides an excellent environment to not only challenge me, but also support me in becoming a more competent and effective clinician.
What do you want to do with your degree?
I hope to continue to work in and grow the private practice I’ve worked at for several years and provide affordable, ethical, and sound clinician interventions.
What are you most looking forward to about your program?
I am very excited to become exposed to new ideas, theories, and interventions, and to be challenged and experience growth in personal and professional areas of my life.
