Favorite Quote: “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

What would people be surprised to know about you?

People would be surprised to know that I graduated with a Bachelor’s in biology and wanted to be a medical doctor.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

A cause that I am passionate about is breaking the mental health stigma, especially in BIPOC communities.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose to attend MSP because the environment is small and staff and faculty are accessible and approachable. I graduated with my master’s from MSP and they are the only school with PsyD degree in Michigan, and I knew this is the route I want to go.

What do you want to do with your degree?

With my degree, I want to provide therapy in those BIPOC communities that are underrepresented by mental health resources and understanding. Additionally, I want to consult Christian organizations on how to incorporate mental health in their practices.

What is your plan for after graduation?

My plan after graduation is to look into starting my own practice.
