What would people be surprised to know about you?

People would be surprised to know that I lived in Africa for 10 years. Specifically, West Africa, in a little country called The Gambia.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

A cause that I’m passionate about is associated with an organization called ‘Let’s Go’ stemming out of Oregon. They provide a window of time for our children to play and maneuver with little supervision by affiliation with parks, school playgrounds, rec–centers, and other out/indoor locations. The idea behind it is to enable our children to develop a sense of responsibility by engaging with the environment without a mediating factor.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose to attend MSP because of the extensive psycho-therapeutic approach provided by the faculty members. The faculty members have acquired specialties throughout their careers that would provide me with the appropriate conditions of learning and succeeding as a Clinical Psychologist.

What do you want to do with your degree?

I would like to use my degree to implement the methods and tools I’ve learned in real-world settings by opening a private clinic in underserved regions.

What is your plan for after graduation?

My plan after graduation is to engage with the underserved societies of our time. These individuals are usually neglected, avoided, and have little to no opportunities to soar forward. Providing methods that would improve one’s life is something worth pursuing as a career.
