What would people be surprised to know about you?

One of my favorite past times is going to concerts. Even if I don’t know the artists, I love the energy and atmosphere of live music. I’m excited to get back to enjoying concerts as more things start opening up.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about mental health, specifically for children. I feel as though a lot of times, children’s mental health is overlooked and brushed off. It is important to validate their feelings and help improve their emotional health.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose to attend MSP because it is a humanistic school. I appreciate how it focuses on individuality. People aren’t “one size fits all”. Everyone has their unique experiences and should be treated that way.

What do you want to do with your degree?

Once I obtain my Masters degree, I’m hoping to get enough experience at my practicum site to decide to either work in private practice or in school behavioral health. I am not completely set on what I do, so I’m keeping an open mind throughout this program.

What is your plan after graduation?

After graduation, I plan on getting a job in private practice or school behavioral health. Once I get a few years of experience under my belt, I hope to come back and work towards getting my PsyD.
