What would people be surprised to know about you?

People might be surprised to know that as extroverted as I may seem, I need a lot of time alone to rest and recharge each day (and preferably 9-10 hours of sleep at night).

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about causes that work towards justice and liberation for all, including our planet. I have been especially drawn to the movement for body liberation and its intersections with anti-racism.

Why did you choose MSP?

Honestly, attending Dr. Chávez-Korell’s brown bag lecture on multicultural psychology and social justice sold me on the school—and the 11-month MA program just wasn’t long enough.

What do you plan to do with your degree?

Ultimately, I would love to integrate my work in social justice, conflict mediation, nature connection, and humanistic psychology to serve communities in personal and collective healing.

What is your plan after graduation?

My plan after graduation (4-5 years from now) is currently under unhurried construction.
