What would people be surprised to know about you?
I think people would be surprised to know that I am a registered yoga instructor and a level 2 Reiki practitioner. I am also currently working as Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) at a local psychiatric hospital.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I’m passionate about the intersection of mental health treatment and mindfulness.
Why did you choose MSP?
I chose to attend MSP because I value their holistic and humanistic approaches to educating students, as it aligns closely with my personal values. I love that the class sizes are small, which allows for authentic discussion and relationships with my peers.
What do you plan to do with your degree?
I hope to one day have a clinic where those who have intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities can come to receive not only ABA services, but holistic treatment that would include yoga, meditation and breath work classes, and Reiki.
What is your plan after graduation?
My plan after graduation is to work in the field as a BCBA and possibly pursue my BCBA-D.
