What would people be surprised to know about you?

One thing that people would be surprised to know about me is that I come from a place known as ‘God’s own country’ (Kerala, India). It may also surprise them that I have many passions – singing, dancing and writing poems. Another surprising fact is that I was working in the social entrepreneurship and development sector prior to taking a break for 13 years.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about understanding and helping people in their needs, without any judgment. I want to see myself as the go-to person for those who need help with mental health.

Why did you choose MSP?

When I decided to restart my career in the field of mental health, which is completely new to me, I felt that MSP was the ideal choice for me, as it was offering all that I could wish for.

What do you want to do with your degree?

I wish to become a child psychologist; however, I want to explore all the available options that the Master’s program in Clinical Psychology with ABA  concentration can offer.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

I used to work as an interpreter for hospital patients. During one of the assignments in a psychiatric facility, I felt that helping people with mental health challenges is my calling.
