What would people be surprised to know about you? 

I am an only child who is both Pakistani and Bangladeshi!

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about raising awareness of mental health in the Muslim community.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose to attend MSP because of the diversity and welcoming environment as well as the humanistic approach to treatment!

What do you want to do with your degree?

I plan to open a rehabilitation center for people of all backgrounds but primarily catered towards American Muslim men and women struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and substance use disorders.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

My own personal experience with mental health and my belief in my Islamic faith inspired me to pursue psychology!
