It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from June and July 2025.

On June 4th, Ron Anderson (MA ’24) returned to campus to discuss working with first responders. 

June 6th was our annual career fair. We connected 26 employers with 52 students during the fair. 

On June 12th Psi Chi inducted their 31 new and 6 transfer members.

ABPsi hosted a Juneteenth Celebration on June 20th. 

Other Highlights from June and July:

We continued our self-care series by connecting with our peers and making affirmations.

We started our third semester book club, where we read Neuroqueer Heresies by Dr. Nick Walker. 

Our student organizations brought the Cappuccino Man Coffee Cart to campus to help celebrate the end of the year.

ECO hosted a clothing swap. 

Psi Chi had the second part of their Dissertation Symposium on June 2nd and finished it off on June 12th. 

We hosted a public film screening of The Addict’s Wake, followed by discussions about substance abuse on June 3rd. 

On June 13th, we headed to Jimmy John’s Field for a Baseball Game. 

Tiffany Thompson (MA ’24) presented on Maternal Mental Health on June 18th. 

On June 21st, we visited the Arab American National Museum. 

Blogs: We celebrated Pride and Psi Chi Chapter Awards, students shared their perspectives on receiving professional development grants, and Dr. Keith Christie was in the faculty spotlight.
