It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from February 2024.

The ABPsi SC hosted a trivia lunch for Black History Month.

The MENAPC hosted a valentine’s fundraiser, complete with henna.

Other highlights from February:

We welcomed Tami Jacobs as our new Vice President of Services and Operations. Tami hosted a meet & greet to get to know students. 

The Institutional Equity and Anti-Racist Committee (IEARC) and MSP leadership held townhalls to discuss the results of the Community-Wide Equity & Belonging Climate Survey conducted last year. 

Psi Chi hosted a developing a research poster workshop on February 13th. 

Student Engagement invited students to share what makes MSP special through the “Heart of MSP” initiative.  

The ABPsi SC hosted a mixer where students could play games and enjoy a shared cultural space on February 27th. 

Blogs: We celebrated Black History Month, welcomed new members to the Board of Trustees, Tami Jacobs was in the staff spotlight, and Dr. Doug Callan and Dr. Joelle Frangie (MA ’18, PsyD ’23) were in the faculty spotlight.
