It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from April 2025.
The co-founders of The Wayne State University School of Medicine’s End Race-Based Medicine Taskforce presented on April 2nd.
On April 8th, MENAPC hosted an Arab American Heritage Month luncheon.
Drs. Cusick and Johnson presented on opportunities to teach as guests of Psi Chi on April 15th.
ECO got a group together to participate in a Clean-Up on Belle Isle on April 26th.
Other Highlights from April:
IDEA brought attention to the need for organ donors with their Organ Diversity Spirit Week from April 7 to 11th.
We hosted the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group (MDMLG) for their general business meeting on April 23rd.
Blogs: We celebrated Arab American Heritage Month and a 100% APPIC Match Rate, explored mixed methods and ethics, and Dr. Stogner reflected on attending the Fred Gray symposium.
