It’s time for our annual Year in Review! As we look back on each month of the academic year, the MSP community can reflect on the changes and growth we have experienced since September, both individually and as a community. Here’s a look at highlights from April 2024.

MENAPC hosted a luncheon celebrating Ramadan, Easter and Passover.

Student engagement brought The Cappuccino Man to campus to serve coffee and tea during finals week.

Other highlights from April:

ECO hosted a movie night to watch For the Love of the Land on April 3rd.  

In addition to bringing The Cappuccino Man to campus, Student Engagement brought coffee and bagels from Einstein’s for finals week. 

On April 17th, we were proud to host the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group for their Spring General Business Meeting and Program.

The Structural Racism Programming Committee invited students to attend the City Institute’s Detroit Virtual Tour on Redlining, Racism, and Segregation.

ABPsi hosted a school supply drive benefiting Detroit youth at risk of homelessness. 

The eight-week long EPPP study group led by Becca Jarvis (PsyD 4) began. 

Blogs: We celebrated Arab American Heritage Month and a 100% internship placement rate, we shared the accomplishments of the MSP community at Division 32, and recognized the recipients of the Psi Chi Professional Development Award.
