I would like to welcome you all to the 2024-2025 academic year. For those of you who are new this year, we are honored that you selected MSP to be your home for your academic journey. To our returning students, my hope is that you had a well-deserved and restful break. Monday marks the beginning of the first week of in-person classes, but the semester officially kicked off this week with a full schedule of events during Prep Week including orientation, program meetings, and trainings. The faculty and staff greeted 89 new students at orientation yesterday, and the atrium buzzed with the energy of a new year. As students, faculty, and staff participated in icebreaker activities and introductory sessions, new connections were formed and our new students began the process of integrating into the MSP community. I am certain this academic year is already off to a great start. As we embark on this new academic year, there will be more change and more opportunities to grow, both as individuals and as an institution. Let’s be our best selves and continue to work on our goals together. I know for me it is a pleasure and privilege to serve you. |
