Foster the Future of MSP!
Expanding our campus included a new building that will house the Michigan School Psychological Clinic. A new space for a community training education center will provide a nurturing atmosphere for learning, and additional meeting rooms and parking will allow us to better meet student needs. Converting a residential home into a teaching and training and community space requires extensive building and renovation.
We need your help to make this dream a reality. Giving options include our Foster the Future building fund, naming opportunities in the new building, and contributions that directly support the Michigan School Psychological Clinic.
For nearly 40 years our graduates have been making a difference in the lives of others. Our new building provides the opportunity for MSP students to provide high quality, low cost mental health services to the underserved, and increases our ability to offer community outreach programs, conferences and workshops.
Phase I: Complete!
Site work linking the two properties with sidewalk and parking is complete, including a new combined driveway off Orchard Lake Road. Retaining walls, fencing, landscaping, and lighting have been installed.
Phase II: Making progress!
Partial demolition of the residential structure is complete. Construction is proceeding, with new exterior and interior walls in place and concrete poured. Preparation for interior plumbing and electrical is in progress, and decisions about technology, HVAC, and furnishings are well underway. All is on schedule for construction to complete in winter 2021!
