MSP defines full-time enrollment as a minimum of nine credit hours per semester and half-time enrollment as a minimum of five credit hours per semester. Students enrolled to complete their final degree requirements – practicum/internship only, or whose course enrollment is restricted by final degree requirements – may be considered half-time. To maintain active enrollment status, students must be registered in at least one semester per academic year. All requests for changes to enrollment status must be approved by the Program Director and Registrar.
For students readmitted due to a break in enrollment, the degree requirements will be those of the catalog in effect at the time of re-enrollment. New course and program requirements may apply.
International students attending school on an F-1 Visa must maintain full-time enrollment status and must remain in good academic standing to comply with the requirements of the F-1 Visa (full-time requirements do not apply to F-1 Canadian Border Crossers).
