What would people be surprised to know about you?
In my free time I enjoy singing and playing the guitar or ukulele.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I am passionate about enhancing trauma-informed care for survivors of sexual abuse and interpersonal violence, as well as advocating for marginalized populations, including the previously incarcerated and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Why did you choose MSP?
I chose this program for its intimate class sizes, emphasis on the humanistic psychological approach, strong networking opportunities, and commitment to developing ethical and competent clinical psychologists.
What do you want to do with your degree?
I plan to use my degree to open a clinical practice in Metro-Detroit, offering specialized care to survivors of trauma, including those who have experienced incarceration or identify within the LGBTQIA+ community.
How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?
While helping my family member improve her mental health, my desire to help others was unveiled, and my interest in psychology and the mental health profession began.
