Book I would recommend: I am not much of a bookworm. Currently I read children’s books to my girls. My favorite to read is Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson!

Favorite Quote: “Sometimes people come into your life for a moment, a day, or a lifetime. It matters not the time they spent with you but how they impacted your life in that time.” -Unknown

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I am a wife, a mother of two little girls and two dogs, and I have been a special education teacher for 9 years.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about helping teens to better themselves.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose to attend MSP because I had found my passion changing, and after having my own mental health struggles, I realized that I would love to help others through theirs.

What do you want to do with your degree?

I am interested in private practice therapy working with either teens or siblings of individuals with disabilities.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

After losing my cousin unexpectedly at the young age of 27, I went through a really tough battle with my own mental health. I began therapy and slowly realized that therapy may have been one of the best things to happen to me. I want to help others in the same way that I was helped.
