What would people be surprised to know about you?
I did slam poetry for a little bit and have been writing/rapping since I was in high school. I’m also an only child.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I am passionate about mental health. Speaking about it and making it ok to speak about what’s on your mind or happening in life. I’m very passionate about breaking stigmas that surround the field.
Why did you choose MSP?
Coming from a philosophy background, I was primarily drawn to the humanistic and existential style of psychology offered through MSP. I was also very excited to see the vast array of research topics and interests that each faculty member has.
What do you plan to do with your degree?
I either want to open my own practice or be a part of one. Ultimately, I will be pursuing my doctoral degree. My big picture is to finish schooling, go into practice, eventually go into teaching, and be published.
What is your plan after graduation?
I would either like to go directly into starting my next degree or join the workforce here in Michigan for some experience before getting back into school.
