What is a cause you’re passionate about?

I am passionate about mental health, especially spreading awareness and making resources more accessible for individuals seeking assistance.

Why did you choose to attend MSP?

I was drawn to how intimate the classes are. I thrive in an environment where I can get to know my peers closely.

What do you plan to do with your degree?

I would love to work with the incarcerated population. I feel as though they are forgotten / not particularly at the forefront for the general population. I believe that these individuals’ mental health is important to them eventually becoming more upstanding citizens, whether in prison or in general society.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

The first time I took psychology in high school, I knew right away that I would pursue this subject beyond grade school and continue to make a much-needed positive impact on the mental health profession. I have also experienced mental health issues personally and know how hard it can be to feel like you’re struggling alone and to find help in general. I’d like to make therapy more accessible for those individuals seeking help.
