What would people be surprised to know about you?

I am a very talkative individual who also enjoys singing.

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am very concerned about the issue of domestic violence and abuse within both sexes, as well as the unhealthy mentalities surrounding masculinity and the impact it can have on the psychological well-being of young men.

Why did you choose MSP?

I was impressed by the structure of the program and the overall approach to learning, and so it seemed like an ideal place to obtain my master’s degree.

What do you want to do with your degree?

I am hoping to eventually become a counseling psychologist/therapist with an initial focus on adolescents and young adults, especially those who come from abusive households and/or deal with mental health struggles.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

I became curious about mental health during my time in high school when I struggled with ADHD and anxiety before fully realizing I had them. During my own counseling sessions, I started wondering more about the types of illnesses and conditions that had no physical signs and how we treat them.
