What would people be surprised to know about you?

People would be surprised to know that I build computers. I’ve built hundreds of computers from the ground up!

Name a cause you are passionate about.

I am passionate about helping spread awareness of the signs of human trafficking, as well as providing support for survivors.

Why did you choose MSP?

I chose MSP because of its focus on humanistic psychology. I was also happy to see the small, tight-knit, community inside and outside of the classroom.

What do you want to do with your degree?

After graduation, I plan on practicing under my LLP. I have worked with underserved communities for the past 4 years and plan to continue my dedication to those communities.

How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?

I fell in love with psychology during my first psychology class in college. After graduating undergrad, I worked at the Department of Juvenile Justice in South Carolina where I saw just how important mental health care is for youth in the inner cities. I became passionate about becoming part of the solution and furthering my education to be able to help more.
