MSP Career Services Events
Each year, Student Engagement presents activities designed to help students find a job after graduation. From start to finish, the Career Services calendar is packed with opportunities to prepare for job hunting.
Workshops include “Job Hunting with a TLLP”, “Social Media & Networking”, “How to Start a Private Practice”, and many more.
Career Service Events culminates in the Career Fair.
Career Services
Throughout the third semester, a variety of workshops and career prep opportunities will be offered to students. The final schedule of events will be shared in the coming months but students can expect sessions covering the following topics.
Continuing opportunities (current students only)
- Mock interviews – by appointment only with Kinsey
- Resume review in the atrium – or by appointment with Carrie or Kinsey
- May 7th from 12:30 – 1:30 PM
- May 16th from 5 – 6 PM
- May 29th from 4:30 – 6 PM
- Professional Looking Headshots – or by appointment with Dana
- May 20th from 11 AM – 1 PM in Room 3
- May 21st from 12 – 1:30 PM & 5:15 – 6 PM in Room 1
- May 22nd from 11 AM – 1 PM in Room 1
- May 23rd from 4 – 6 PM in the Conference Room

Workshops
- May 2nd at 12:30 and 5 PM – Resume Building Workshops
- Get tips and tricks on what to do (and what not to do) to make your resume stand out.
- May 22nd at 12:30 PM – Job Hunting with a TLLP/How to Tackle the EPPP
- Learn from an MSP alum about getting a job with a TLLP and how to study for the EPPP
- May 22nd at 5 PM – Studying for BCBA
- Prepare to begin the studying process for the BCBA exam.
- May 30th at 12:30 PM – Starting Your Private Practice
- Learn the basics of opening and running a private practice.
- June, 4th at 12:30 PM – Social Media and Networking
- Join us for a presentation on how to use social media to network and create a professional online presence for your job hunt and beyond.
