What would people be surprised to know about you?
Most people would be surprised that I was a preschool teacher for three years. I’m now a lead medical assistant for a neurosurgery office, so it was a big change for me.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I’m passionate about providing mental health services for people in underserved populations.
Why did you choose MSP?
I chose to attend MSP because of the humanistic approach the program is based upon, and the location allows me to stay close to home while furthering my education.
What do you want to do with your degree?
With my degree, I plan to become a limited licensed psychologist and provide mental health services to children and adolescents. I also plan on returning to school in the future to work towards completing a doctorate program.
How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?
I first became interested in the mental health profession after falling in love with the field of psychology while taking an elective course during my senior year of high school.
