The Michigan School of Psychology (MSP) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the following appointments: MSP alumnus Andre Johnson, PsyD (’23) to Board Secretary, and Sean de Four, MSW and Scott Crabill, PhD to Board Trustee.
Dr. Andre L. Johnson is an alumnus of the Michigan School of Psychology’s doctoral program. He is the Founder/President/CEO of the Detroit Recovery Project Incorporated (DRP) which is the first recovery focused community organization designated a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in the state of Michigan. Dr. Johnson’s work in recovery extends beyond Michigan with his national advocacy work. He was recognized as the “2016 Champion of Change for Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery” by President Barack Obama and was appointed to serve as a member of the SAMHSA National Advisory Counsel in 2023.
Sean de Four is the President and CEO of Southwest Solutions, a non-profit organization in Detroit providing mental health services, affordable housing, workforce development, and other necessary services to the disenfranchised. He has clinical experience in mental health, juvenile justice, disability services, and more. He received his MSW from the University of Michigan, where he now serves as an adjunct faculty member teaching courses in social welfare policy, child and family policy, mental health policy, and human service management and administration.
Dr. Scott Crabill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations at Oakland University. He received a MA in Counseling from Oakland University prior to pursuing a PhD in Communication from Wayne State University. In addition to his work with MSP, Dr. Crabill currently serves as the Chair on the Board of Directors for Campfire of Southeast Michigan, a non-profit organization providing children with a safe place to go during out-of-school times while their parents work.
