I am a very artistic person, and I actually had Applied Arts as my minor in my undergraduate.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I’m very passionate about the environment and the impact that we make on it.
Why did you choose MSP?
My advisor in my undergraduate highly recommended MSP over other schools because of MSP’s approach to teaching.
What do you want to do with your degree?
My ultimate goal is to eventually become an art therapist for individuals with mental or physical disabilities. I’m very passionate about working with people on the autism spectrum, so that’s why I’m getting my MA in combination with ABA.
How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?
Struggling with my own mental health issues made me realize how important it is to seek help when you need it. After seeing the impact of therapy on myself and others, I realized I wanted to be one so that I could help people too.
