What would people be surprised to know about you?
I’m an avid swimmer; I try to wake up at 6 every morning to swim laps.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I’m learning more about how psychiatry/the mental health system can often go in hand in hand with the carceral system that strips people of autonomy and liberty.
Why did you choose MSP?
I wanted to continue my education with people who were thoughtful, deliberate, and passionate about the work we do, and I found that at MSP.
What do you want to do with your degree?
I am planning on working in the Dearborn area with Arab American children and adolescents, whether that be through community-based services or private practice.
What are you most looking forward to about your program?
I am excited to be able to immediately apply what I’m learning in class with my clients.
