People would be surprised to know that although I’m shy and reserved at first, I have a goofy side once I start opening up.
Name a cause you are passionate about.
I am passionate about advocating for mental health awareness amongst young adults and teenagers because I struggled during that time in my life and know what it’s like to fight battles alone.
Why did you choose MSP?
I felt very welcome and comfortable during my visits to MSP and I immediately loved the environment. After doing research and learning about what MSP stands for and its emphasis on humanistic psychology, I knew it was the right place for me.
What do you want to do with your degree?
I would love to eventually specialize in working with teenagers and young adults who struggle in their everyday lives.
How did you first get interested in the mental health profession?
I first got interested in the mental health profession when I took an Intro to Psychology course at my community college and resonated with some of the course content. I realized that I wanted to delve deeper into the field of mental health.
