Categories of Data that may be Collected
Students (prospective and admitted) and Alumni
Identification information, such as, but not limited to social security number, address, phone, financial aid application information, academic record, information provided by other institutions, demographic information, photos taken during events, and donor information.
Employees
Identification information, such as, but not limited to social security number, address, phone, demographic information, employment records, benefit information, performance records, photos taken during events, and donor information.
MSP Clinic Patients
Identification information, such as, but not limited to address, phone, demographics, treatment information, and intake forms.
Information Use
MSP does not sell your information to any third parties.
Information is only shared with third parties when such information is needed to provide necessary operations and services. Third party vendors may include, but not be limited to student database systems, provision of transcript services, and learning management systems. MSP works diligently to ensure confidentiality and privacy is at the forefront.
MSP complies with FERPA, which allows for the disclose of personally identifiable information from education records without consent to authorized representatives of the U.S. Comptroller General, the U.S. Attorney General, the U.S. Secretary of Education, or State educational authorities. Data Security
The information and data that MSP collects is protected by ensuring physical access to data systems is limited to appropriate personnel, appropriate administrative access settings to data and technical access safeguards, such as, but not limited to intrusion prevention, detection and logging, and training of data disclosure practices.
