The Michigan School Psychological Clinic is proud to partner with the Southern Smoke Foundation (SSF) to bring the ‘Behind You’ mental health program to Michigan. This partnership provides access to up to 20 no-cost counseling sessions for eligible food and beverage (F+B) workers in Michigan.
Southern Smoke Foundation (SSF) supports food and beverage industry workers in crisis nationwide through emergency relief grants and access to mental health services. SSF offers services through two core programs:
To qualify for this program, individuals must work in the food and beverage industry for at least 30 hours weekly (60 hours bi-weekly) for at least six months. Multiple roles within the industry are acceptable, provided they collectively meet the hourly requirement.
All individuals interested in receiving support through the MSP Clinic and SSF partnership must apply through SSF’s website: southernsmoke.org. Once an application has been submitted and SSF verifies employment within the F+B industry, the client’s information will be sent to the MSP Clinic, and we will be in touch to set up an intake appointment.
Application and more information: southernsmoke.org/mental-health/.
More about the Behind You program:
If you have any questions, please reach out to the SSF Behind You team at [email protected].
“We see the partnership with the ‘Behind You’ program as an honor and an opportunity for the Clinic. The program’s expansion into Michigan will allow us to reach out specifically to members of our state’s food and beverage industry.
