Group Psychotherapy

Group therapy can be an effective form of treatment either instead of, or along with individual therapy.  In addition to an increased understanding of oneself, the feedback offered in group therapy can be very useful in understanding one’s relationships with others.

The MSPC offers two types of group psychotherapy, open groups, and closed groups. Open groups operate on a drop-in basis where individuals can join the group at any time and can come to sessions whenever they’d like. Closed groups have a limited number of seats which requires individuals to sign-up prior to the first session and new members are not added. Members of a closed group commit to attending all sessions for the duration of the group.
