Dr. Sara McClelland: Keynote Speaker

Photo of a woman with brown curly hair looking at the camera.Sara McClelland, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Women’s Studies and Psychology at the University of Michigan. Her research includes how experiences of sociopolitical inequality shape an individual’s sense of what they deserve in their intimate lives. Dr. McClelland also teaches courses on adolescent sexual development, public policy, and research design.

Dr. McClelland is the Keynote Speaker at this year’s Mental Health Research Symposium. Her speech is called, “Working Hard at Being Normal: Gender, Sexuality, and Intimacy in Palliative Care.”
