Practicum and Internship Supervisors
The Michigan School of Psychology invites applications for practicum and internship supervisors for students engaged in clinical training. These supervisors collaborate with the faculty and the on-site clinicians who monitor the daily performance of students engaged in clinical training at the site. Supervisors are members of the Clinical Training Department staff.
The ideal candidates will exhibit a sense of investment in supervising graduate students in clinical psychology and fostering their professional development. Candidates will possess effective organization, communication, and relational skills to facilitate sharing of information as it relates to students’ development and delivering effective feedback. In addition, candidates will possess values and a vision consistent with the mission of the Michigan School as well as a commitment to the practitioner-scholar model of health services psychology and the highest standards of ethical practice.
- A Doctoral degree in psychology.
- Full license as a psychologist (LP).
- Willingness to be flexible as to location where supervision occurs; for example, at students’ practicum sites or onsite at MSP.
- Experience in providing supervision to graduate students is preferred.
